Heather & Devyn's Excellent Adventure

The time is nearing when we will say our farewells and hit the road from Ft. Lauderdale to our final continental destination, Los Angeles, before we ditch the SuperCamry and soar on over to Honolulu. Up until now, we've had the most important things planned out- what clothes to pack (all of Devyn's), which Book on CD's to bring (Emily Giffin's Something Blue), to do Vegas or not to do Vegas (skip, the sick pool parties will be closed in November) and the proper preparation of playlists on our iPhones. 

Last night we sorted out the minor details; the roadtrip break down. I want to share the journey we are about to partake in with you, and all tips and hints of wisdom are greatly appreciated!

 We will begin our road trip together in Nashville, TN, so that's where I will begin the breakdown of events. I will be leaving Ft. Lauderdale a few days prior, hoping to spend a few days celebrating fall in the Smokey Mountains with family and friends, and maybe even visiting my favorite Gators on the way!

Here's the breakdown of our trip- (for now we are going to overlook timezones, and take the extra hours we gain as "bonus hours")

Friday, November 4

8:00 a.m. Depart Nashville, TN

drive 10 hours

6:00 p.m. Arrive in Oklahoma City, OK

   stay @ Hampton Inn Bricktown (free bfast, yay!)

Saturday, November 5

8:00 a.m. Depart Oklahoma City, OK

drive 8 hours

4:00 p.m. Arrive Santa Fe, NM

stay at Hilton Santa Fe Golf Resort & Spa at Buffalo Thunder

Sunday, November 6

8:00 a.m. Depart Santa Fe, NM

drive 7 hours

3:00 Arrive Grand Canyon

Monday, November 7

Jackass rides down the Grand Canyon!

3:00 p.m. Depart Grand Canyon

10:00 p.m. Arrive in Los Angeles, CA

A.M. drop off SuperCamry at port

5:05 p.m. Depart LAX

8:40 p.m. Arrive in HNL (Honolulu!)
